GoBuyIt, operated by BaloTrade Global LTD, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy outlines the procedure for reporting and addressing claims of copyright and trademark infringement on the GoBuyIt platform.
1. Reporting Infringement
If you believe that your intellectual property rights (e.g., copyright or trademark) have been infringed upon by a listing or content on the GoBuyIt platform, you must submit a formal takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must contain all of the following information to be considered valid:

A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property right.

Identification of the intellectual property claimed to have been infringed. Please provide a clear description (e.g., "The copyrighted photograph," "The registered trademark for XYZ").

A description of the infringing material and its location on the GoBuyIt platform. A direct URL link to the listing is required.

Your contact information, including your full name, business name (if applicable), physical address, email address, and telephone number.

A statement from you that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the intellectual property owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
2. Submission of Notice

3. GoBuyIt's Response to a Valid Notice
Upon receipt of a valid and complete takedown notice, GoBuyIt will take the following actions:

We will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing material.

We will make a reasonable effort to contact the user who posted the material to inform them of the takedown notice and provide them with a copy of your report.

We will keep a record of the notice and the action taken.
4. Counter-Notification
If you are a GoBuyIt user and believe that your ad or content was removed by mistake or because of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must contain the following:

A physical or electronic signature of the user.

Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.

A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.

Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a court in Ogun State, Nigeria, and that you will accept service of process from the party who provided the original takedown notice.

5. Consequences of Infringement
GoBuyIt reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
